___

Clarabell is an absolutely adorable 6-8-month-old, 45-pound pitbull mix who is spayed, vaccinated, and full of love.

Clarabell is a sweet and goofy pup currently being fostered in AUSTIN, TX. This playful girl is available for transport out of state once matched with an approved adopter.

About Clarabell:
Clarabell’s journey began outside a local Petco, where her foster mom found her in a cardboard box. Despite her rough start, she’s blossomed into one of the sweetest, most loving fosters her family has ever had.

Clarabell is the epitome of puppy energy and enthusiasm. At just 6-8 months old and already 45 pounds, she’s on track to grow into a big, strong girl—likely 65-75 pounds when fully grown. She’s a social butterfly who loves everyone she meets, whether they’re kids, dogs, or even cats (though she’s more interested in playing with cats than anything else).

Dog-Friendly:
Clarabell adores playing with other dogs, regardless of size. In her foster home, she’s kept up with pitbulls ranging from 40-90 pounds and even wrestles with the 80-pound “big brother” of the pack. Her play style is typical of a puppy—nonstop energy, wrestling, and endless enthusiasm. While she doesn’t always pick up on cues when another dog is done playing, she responds well to corrections from the other dogs in her foster home.

Kid-Friendly:
This affectionate girl has been wonderful with the children in her foster home, who range from 2 to 17 years old. Clarabell would do well in a home with kids of any age, though families with small children should be prepared for her puppy-play and energetic antics.

Energy Level:
Clarabell is full of vitality and thrives in an active home. She loves her morning walks and can play for hours without tiring. A home that can provide plenty of physical activity, mental stimulation, and enrichment will suit her best. While she doesn’t necessarily need another dog in the home, she adores canine companionship and loves playing with her foster siblings.

Training & Manners:
Clarabell is making great progress with her training. She’s fully housebroken, letting her foster family know when she needs to go out. She sleeps peacefully in her crate from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., especially when given a chew toy to settle down. She knows basic commands like “sit,” “kennel up,” and “wait for food.” On leash, she does well for her age, with occasional pulling that’s easily corrected.

Personality:
Clarabell is the ultimate love bug. She’s incredibly affectionate and a “serial face licker” who will shower you with kisses if given the chance. She’s curious, playful, and silly, with a touch of goofiness that will keep you smiling. When you talk to her, she’ll tilt her head in the most endearing way, as if she’s trying to understand every word.

Ideal Home:
Clarabell’s ideal home will be prepared for a big, active dog and able to provide plenty of physical and mental enrichment. She’d love a family that enjoys outdoor adventures, daily play sessions, and snuggles on the couch. While she’s still young and needs supervision (she’s not ready to be left unsupervised in the house yet), she’s eager to learn and grow into the perfect companion.

If you’re looking for a fun-loving, energetic, and affectionate pup to add to your family, Clarabell is ready to steal your heart—and maybe cover your face with kisses!
