You must be 25 yrs of age or older to adopt through us. We are in the Rochester NY area and adopt dogs out to area residents.

REQUIREMENTS: live in the Rochester NY area and have a physically fenced in yard for pup to safely run and play in. Experience dealing with mill dogs or shy/scared dogs.

Cinnamon is a petite 8 yr old Pomeranian puppy mill survivor and will require an adopter experienced with mill dogs. Although at present she is very shy and fearful of humans, and is a high flight risk, she shows great potential.
Cinnie is very comfortable with other small dogs and requires a home with at least one compatible small breed dog. A quiet peaceful home without the presence of children with a secure fenced in yard is a must.
Cinnie is in the process of being housebroken , is not leash trained and prefers not to be crated. She’s good with cats..showing little interest. She’s spayed and up-to-date on her shots and has had her dental. She enjoys sleeping in her soft bed at night. She has luxating patellae and favors one hind leg, but gets around and is given joint supplements to help. All vet work is done including dental.

All animals are kept in foster homes so there is no shelter for you to visit animal. Please go to https://new2urescue.org/adoption/adoption-application/ if you would like to meet the foster animal or learn more.

All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.
