Meet CiCi

Hi, my name is CiCi. I was found as a stray with my puppies. I had to be removed from the chicken coop where I had given birth. It appears I didn't have much human interaction until I was rescued. My pups have all been adopted, so now I'm trying to learn about being a pet dog. I am learning to trust humans but it's not easy for me. I will take treats out of your hand and go in my crate for food or treats. I'm doing well with my potty training but may need some adjustment time in a new home.

I am doing well with the cats in my foster home, and I know to "leave it" when foster mom thinks I'm bothering the cats. I enjoy chasing my doggy foster brother around the yard. I depend greatly on the other dogs for my comfort and confidence. For this reason, my Foster Mom says I need a home with another dog who can help me learn about being a pet. I do get along best with male dogs. I also feel safest with a fenced in yard. I am working on walking on a leash and need lots of encouragement. I need time to learn about living with humans. Can you help me learn some confidence and teach me that the world is not such a scary place after all?
