Chyla Chihuahua & Dachshund Mix Covington, WA

2 year old female Chiweenie, about 12 pounds.

Chyla is a very loving and friendly girl! She greets us and and everyone she has met with lots of excitement! Her favorite activities here are cuddling with us, giving us lots of kisses, napping with other dogs, and running and playing with her doggie friends! She has good house manners, walks very well on leash, and never chases or barks on walks. Chyla loves attention, and can growl a little if other dogs are fighting for attention with her, but nothing bad at all. She's not a fan of crate though. She can bark a little when first put in, but calms down quickly and stays quiet. Although she loves her doggie friends, she probably loves her people more, and should be fine being the only dog at home. Since she barks in crate, she probably doesn't do too well in apartments with thin walls. We haven't seen her with cats or kids, but think she should be fine with cats and older kids like most Chihuahuas do. Chyla is truly a pleasure to have around.
She's very sweet, loving and cuddly, and we will surely miss her after she's adopted. ?

All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters.
