Meet Churchill

Thank you for your interest in Churchill. He is about 7 years old. We transferred him into our shelter about 2.5 years ago from a municipal shelter in central NC. He was heartworm positive when we got him but that has been treated and he has been on preventative since. He also had a large tumor on his chest in which we had removed, it did come back as cancerous but all scans since have been clear. Churchill is very calm and laid back and walks great on a leash. He never uses the bathroom in his kennel here at the shelter. He is not a barker at all. In fact I have only heard him bark a few times and this was when other dogs were running the fence beside him. He loves all of our staff and volunteers but it can sometimes take him a bit to warm up to strangers. He must go to a home with no other pets and no children as he is not fond of either. Churchills adoption fee is $50.
