Meet Chop - Adopted!
Adopted!

The Pitbull Project
Hospice Hearts selects one young pitbull or pitbull mix per month from a local animal shelter or animal control to be a part of The Pitbull Project. We provide training and veterinary care to the pitbull to prepare him or her for adoption.
Chop - our February Pittie - is now on the market for a loving home as his foster home has reached the decision that now is not a good time to expand their family.
This handsome boy was recently accepted via scholarship for SFK9 Dog Training in Chicago to complete his ten day boot camp and is flourishing, even trying the (pit)bull in a china shop challenge where he’s demonstrating his refined manners.
Chop is an easy going dude who loves children and does well with dogs and cats. He is neutered, vaccinated against rabies, distemper, and bordetella, heartworm negative with six month ProHeart preventative, treated for fleas, ticks, and parasites, and microchipped.
At one year old, Chop embodies all the characteristics of The Pitbull Project. He’s a happy-go-lucky pit mix with a great temperament that is learning to follow directions and improve his manners. His legendary ears are hard to resist. Chop is eager to be a breed ambassador and proudly represent the often misunderstood pitbull.
His adoption fee is $200. Adopt Chop in Champaign-Urbana by applying online under Adopt: www.hospicehearts.org
