Chloe Labrador Retriever Mix Rochester, NY

Required: live in Rochester NY area. Need to have fenced in yard to safely run or play in.

Meet Chloe!
Chloe is an approximately 9 year old 50 lb black Labrador retriever mix. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, and microchipped. She has short hair and does not shed significantly. She has been with our family for over 8 years and was adopted from a rescue. She is great with adults, older children, young children she is familiar with, and other dogs. She does very well in settings with many other dogs (e.g. dog day camp, boarding) and is wonderful with our 5 and 2 year old sons. She has not been around cats. She loves balls and playing fetch. She loves to lay and sleep near people and our other dog. She does not do well walking on a leash (barks and pulls) or with young active children. At 9 years of age she needs an understanding home that can protect her from unwanted encounters with young kids running and yelling in her domain, especially when she’s startled awake. She would do best in a home with a fenced yard or enclosed area off-leash and without unfamiliar young children. She has hypothyroidism and takes half a pill daily which is very low cost or maintenance annually for vet check & it’s an inexpensive medication.
This sweetheart is a beloved family dog who through no fault of her own is in need of being rehomed.
