Meet Chip Puppy (Sugar's Puppy)

Update from foster mom (3-29-23) - Chip, Milkdud and Taffy all went home with a very experienced puppy foster mom on transport day. She gave a little update on each of the pups and here is what she had to say about our Chip.... "Chip is a very confident pup who is not afraid of anything. He is the largest of the three puppies here and he weighs about 25 lbs. Chip loves attention and cuddles. He loves to play with toys, and wrestle with his sisters. He is very treat motivated. The moment the door opens he is out playing in the yard and exploring everything. Chip is a super sweet boy with a different bark for everything. All 3 are working on housebreaking and are doing well. They will make amazing additions to any family."

Meet 5 of the 10 "SUGAR BABIES" - Gumdrop (male), Chip (male), Taffy (female), Milkdud (female) and Twix (female). These adorable Boxer mix puppies wound up at the shelter along with their mom, Sugar, and we were happy to provide rescue for the entire family. Five of the puppies will be arriving on March 26th and they need foster or forever homes to go to when they arrive. The puppies are approximately 3 months of age and weigh about 20 pounds. The rest of the family will be in need of homes at a later date so stay tuned! These puppies are micro-chipped, current with vaccines and spayed/neutered. The litter was exposed to parvovirus while at the sending shelter and some of them did test positive. They received a lot of tender loving care from the shelter workers and also a very good veterinary practice in the area. Some were treated at the shelter. Some needed a day or two of vet care. But, thankfully, all survived and are now HAPPY, HEALTHY puppies. They are all past their quarantine period and can safely be transported and adopted to their forever homes. The suggested adoption donation for each of these puppies is $350 in order to offset the cost of vetting. If you would like to adopt or foster one of these babies when they arrive on March 26th, please submit the adoption application through our website OneLifeToLiveRescue.com. After your application is reviewed and approved, a volunteer will be in touch to answer any questions that you may have. Be sure to ask about our very popular Foster-to-Adopt program. Thank you for considering a wonderful mixed breed puppy! Chip Puppy was the last of the "Sugar Babies" to find his forever home. At 42 lbs., he was officially adopted today. His new name is "Griffin" and he will be spending the "happily-ever-after" part of his life in Thornhurst, PA!!
