Chino Mixed Breed Michigan City, IN

I'm 17 years old and I'm looking for a new family who will love me for however many days I have left. Let's be honest here...I'm just going to give you the facts...

My name is Chino. I am VERY sweet and quite chill. Don't get me wrong, though, I love to go for walks, and I love to walk around in the kiddie pool even more! I give old man slobbery kisses and love to have my puppy bootie scratched. I love to be around you. In fact, the humans are letting me be an office dog because I'm such a good boy.

I have typical "old dog" stuff going on. You know, stuff like lumps and bumps, kind of losing some of my hearing, I don't see as well as I used to, I have some arthritis, but I'm still always wagging my tail and have a great appetite! The humans say that for a 17-year-old, I'm doing pretty darn good!

My ideal home would be one where I can be the only furbaby. At my age, trying to co-exist with another furry friend just isn't super appealing to me. I'd also prefer kiddos to be older since my senses aren't 100% anymore. I really am just looking for a family who will take me for daily strolls - maybe to the beach? I'm also wanting a family who will want me to be a part of their daily routine as much as I want them to be a part of my life.

Again, just me being honest here...it's no secret that I probably don't have years left. But that doesn't mean that the time that I do have left can't be spent happier than ever with a new family. I just need someone to step up and adopt me and give me that chance. I promise I will love you for all of my days...honestly. Love, Chino.
