Meet Chilli! She is a certified house hippo whose alter ego is the most energetic adventure buddy. Found as a stray, Chilli was bred and we suspect abused before she was abandoned. She was found on the street by a couple in LA, who have since been working to get her healthy and ready for adoption. She's around 50 pounds and around 3 years old. <br/><br/><br/>You should know that Chilli is housebroken, crate-trained and sleeps through the night without a peep. She'll do a happy dance when you wake her up in the morning and even wait for her food. She’s an Olympic Gold Medalist at snuggling and is working hard to walk perfectly on a leash. Sometimes she gets excited but can be easily redirected. She is highly food motivated, which makes her a fabulous sous-chef but is never too overzealous to grab anything off the table.<br/><br/><br/>She might take a minute to warm up but once she does, she'll love you forever and be the floppiest, happiest of girls. She is silly, curious, super communicative, loves to play and has been good with kids although her exposure has been minimal. <br/><br/><br/>If Chilli is your soul dog, she will be your best friend. She will love to be by your side whether on the couch, at the beach, or in her favorite place… the car. She’ll need a patient home but will give you everything and more in return. <br/><br/><br/>Chilli is an incredibly special dog, and we hope you fall in love with her as much as we have.
