Meet Chief
Meet Chief! Chief is a handsome 5 year old Red Heeler (actually Australian Stumpy tail Red Heeler cattle dog but that's not a breed choice to choose on Petfinder!). Chief knows: sit, shake, lay down, roll over. He absolutely loves to play ball and go for walks. Very active dog! He will need someone who understands his breed. A fenced yard is a must!
Chief will usually bond with one family member, but will tolerate the others in the home. He is crate trained. He is skittish around children so a home without young children would be best. The family should be active with Chief daily, at least an hour per day.
Chief is a sweet boy but has shown he is uncomfortable around strangers and could possibly nip at them. When his foster family has company over, Chief is nervous and is crated in another room.
Chief has been vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.
If you think you could be Chief's perfect forever family, please go to www.pettalesrescue.com and fill out an application to meet him. His adoption fee is $250.
