Meet Chico

Shiba Inu is described as: independent and reserved, they are loyal and affectionate with those who earn their respect. They are compact and muscular; alert and agile. The breed is known as strong-willed and possessive. They are so independent they are described as a cat-like dog. Chico is all the above. When he wants to be pet or snuggled, OK; if not he gives a clear BACK OFF warning. Ten year old Chico will need someone experienced with Shiba Inu's and no kids under the age of 12. He definitely guards his food, toys, people etc.. He needs a strong, experienced person who will draw clear boundaries. He loves to walk, run and spend time with people. If you have the moxy to lay down the law for him, he will be a great companion. He is smart, affectionate and ready for adventure.
