Chicken Wing was left tied outside of the Humane Society in the rain and we all know wet chicken is no fun. This kid is working on drying out still (abandonment issues) and is coming around quickly. It takes him a little bit of time to develop trust in you, but once he does he is such a silly, happy puppy!
Bum scritches are one of his favorite things, and he favors humans over toys. He has a very selective palette, so don't be offended if he snubs the treats you try to give him; and he would like you to know that he doesn't like to be dipped in sauces, no matter how delicious he is. Chicken Wing is ready to learn all the good boy things that someone patient can teach him, including how to claim a couch and get his own Netflix account.
Chicken Wing will need a cat free home, as he was far too interested in the Shelter kitty.
Dog friends are a bit of a mystery currently. He erupted in rooster crowing when he met a beautiful girl dog, and we weren't able to tell if it was in appreciation or disproval. We will continue to work with him to determine if he is selective, friendly, or prefers to be the only dog in the home.
