Meet ChiChi (only dog home)

Location: Houston, TX
ChiChi is 5 year old hairy hairless Chinese Crested. He is a special dog who has had a rough past which makes him leery of new people. He should be in an only dog home but considerations will be given for those homes that have one current docile dog.
A little about ChiChi... he spends most of his time sitting on the back of the couch or curled up on a blanket. He is pretty much a loner except when his human(s) sit down. Then he will find a comfy spot on your lap. ChiChi does not interact well with other dogs. He prefers to be by himself. ChiChi cannot be around children or fast acting teenagers/young adults as their movements startle him.
ChiChi does not like to be groomed. He's okay with his body being shaved but not his face. He will snap at you and it's a pretty fierce reaction but he does not bite to inflict harm.
ChiChi's perfect home is an all adult home where he is the only pet. He needs someone with a lot of patience, understanding and love. We would prefer that ChiChi be adopted by someone who lives in Houston or within a reasonable driving distance but will consider applications in other cities/states.
