Chicago Pit Bull Terrier Normal, IL

Chicago is a beautiful 42-pound, 1-year old American Pit Bull Terrier. He is a very happy-go-lucky boy who loves going on walks so much that he jumps and leaps out of excitement. He'll need someone to teach him some leash manners, but he's a smart pup so that shouldn't be too difficult. In fact, he's already learned the hand command for sit! Once he's all worn out, Chicago is a big cuddler and he thinks he's a lap dog. Because he is deaf, he will need an owner who is willing to work with and train a hearing-impaired dog.

As for doggie friends, he is either very selective or he isn't a fan at all, we haven't determined that quite yet. A proper dog introduction is a must. Chicago spent some time in a foster home with a cat and was very curious, but while the cat seemed to be bothered by Chicago, he didn't seem to be too bothered by the cat.

His minimum adoption fee is $195 plus a $12 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
