Chia Pit Bull Terrier Mix Minneapolis, MN

The name’s Chia and I am 31-pounds of sweetness and love! I am 2 ½ years old and excited to find my forever home. Here are a few things I am looking for:

1. I love humans, they are amazing. I would love to hang out with my humans all the time, but I get that sometimes they have to go and do stuff without me.

2. I am basically a cuddly lap dog so that has to be okay with my forever humans.

3. I’ve got a spirited personality which might be a little too overwhelming for young kids, but I am working on my manners with my foster – every day I’m progressing!

4. Toys. I love my toys, especially the soft, squishy ones! And as I have recently discovered, treat puzzles are so fun! I could do them all day long.

5. A fenced yard would be great to run around and explore in, but as long as I get a walk or two a day in, I’m good!

6. I’ve got some allergies to something, not really sure what yet, but this medicine I am taking helps with the itchies. My forever human(s) will need to be okay with keeping that up.

7. I’m a single-family home pup for sure (no shared walls).

8. I have no clue how I would do with cats. My foster mom and I were talking about it the other day and I’m good with her pet rats who live in a cage but I really like to chase squirrels. Squirrels and cats both usually have fluffy tails so I might mix them up, so now that I think about it, I probably shouldn’t be in a home with cats. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown.

Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 90-mile radius of Minneapolis; however, we will consider up to 250 miles if the applicant is willing to drive to cities as needed.
