If you have additional questions please email info@huskyrescueteam.orgHusky lovers, meet Cheyenne! This lady found herself living in some pretty rotten living conditions before coming to Animal Control. She's now been transferred into our care. When she first arrived, we had to treat her entropion. Her lower eyelid turned inward causing her lashes to irritate the eye. This has been surgically repaired and she's now ready for adoption.
Despite her not so great start to life, what a sweet gal she is. She loves, loves, loves people. Did we mention she really, really, really loves people. Chey needs a home where there is someone home nearly all the time. She's insecure when left alone. She is crate trained will sing at first until she settles in. At home, she follows you everywhere and leans in for pets. When you rub her neck or chest she closes her eyes and soaks up all the affection. She's great on a leash for a Husky but likes to take in all the smells on her walks. She's a fan of Nylabones and loves to play ball!
Cheyenne is two years old and would make a great first time Husky. No fence is required if you'll commit to exercising her on a leash. She really just wants a home where someone will love on her around the clock. She'd be fine with children but has not been tested with small animals. She is located in MD.
www.huskyrescueteam.org~~Husky Education And Rescue Team is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it's like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you're interested in. If you're still interested in adopting from our rescue the first step is to complete our adoption application online at www.huskyrescueteam.org/apply
