My name is Chewy and I'm a male Lhasa Apso and I'm 12 years old. I weigh 18 lbs. I'm a little chunky, but I'm working on losing some weight. I am neutered and up to date on all my shots. I was 4DX tested and tested negative. I am currently being treated for an ear infection, but I'm sure it will clear up soon. I had diagnostic tests done on my eyes and I was diagnosed with chronic dry eye, which I will be required to have eye drops daily. I also have some vision loss in my right eye, but hey, I can still see and get around with no problems.
I am house trained and crate trained. I'm good with other dogs, cats and kids of all ages. I am a big love bug! I love to cuddle and be close to my humans.
I have been recently groomed and shaved down, because I was very matted and was in poor condition. but don't worry, it will grow back. I will need grooming regularly because my hair gets long.
My previous owner had dementia and then passed away. I am looking for a home that will let me live out my senior years in a loving home, and with someone who will let me snuggle next to.
