Meet Chewie!
OK, Shar-Pei lovers, although a mix, Chewie needs an experienced handler who isn't going to try to turn him into an extrovert who loves to go to busy public places. Chewie would prefer to bond with his person. He has ignored the shelter's cats, and had a low-key canine friend who recently got adopted. We prefer not to place him with kids who may not understand the aloof nature of the breed.
Chewie also LOVES the water. He's the first one to go in on the shelter field trips.
