Meet Chet
Meet Chet, a sweet young pup whith the softest, fluffiest fur you'll ever feel. This little furball is a joy to be around. He is tentative and a bit worried around new people at first but warms up fast if they bring a toy or some treats. Chet is eager to learn, very smart, and can play well by himself, or with other dogs.
It's clear that Chet's first few months of life were unkind. He is easily frightened of fast movements towards him, especially of feet, and will scream in terror if you bump him with a foot while walking near him. Chet desperately wants to be loved and to love his people back and he does an amazing job. It will be wonderful when he finally realizes that this new life is filled with safety and love.
Because he is timid, Chet would probably do best in a home with a confident dog to help him feel safe and to model his own behaviors after. He would probably also be best in a home without very young, fast-moving children. A home without children, or with older children who can allow him to come to them on his terms would be best.
