“Well, hello to you. My name is Chester, and I am quite the gentleman. My fur is scruffy and soft but I don’t shed much, especially when my coat is trimmed short. Some of my friends describe me as the most loving and affectionate boy. I really love to cuddle as you stroke my soft fur and smooth belly. I get frisky and kinda silly with my toys; plush are my favorite.

Although I am getting stronger in my back legs, I use a cart when I go out exploring. It is neat to sniff and investigate the neighborhood. What I don’t do in miles, I sniff in inches!

My best friend is Rodolfo. He and I became buddies down in Mexico and made the big trip to LA together. My greatest wish is to remain friends with him...so it would be super amazing if our families can give us regular visits. I like other dogs too…but Rodo is just like me so we have a lot of fun wrestling and snuggling together.

Oh yeah, this is pretty important, I need help to go potty. My caregivers do an excellent job keeping me clean and they can show you how to do it. I enjoy meeting new people and I am polite with kids (who are gentle). Don’t like loud trucks, I bark at them. Treats? Yes, please…all the time. I love food, maybe even more than head scratches (which is a lot). So if you want a sweet pal, maybe that could be me.”
