Did You Adopt Chester?

Meet Chester

This is Chester. Chester should be a familiar face by now. He has been adopted out twice and brought back both times. Chester is a good dog, we are just having trouble finding his forever home. Chester is a mixed breed dog who is a little over a year old. He lived a lot of his life as a stray, so he doesn't have lots of manners. Cheddar beans (his nickname here at the shelter) needs to be an outside/farm dog OR he needs to be put in a crate when no one is home or else he will chew things up. He likes to take things laying around the house and hide them ? Cheddar is really not a fan of men inside a home. We aren't sure what is causing that behavior. He gets along wonderfully with children, but he also protects them with everything he has. His ideal home is either a single woman with no children or a single mom with no intention of getting involved with a man. Please help us find Chester his forever home.
