Meet Chester
Chester is a 3 year old Cattle dog. He weighs 54.2 lbs. True to his breed, Chester is very active and energetic! He will need a lot of exercise, and is very friendly and happy- just look at his smile!
Chester is housetrained, likes other dogs, but does not tolerate cats. He knows "sit" and "roll over", and is learning how to walk on the leash. He should go to a home with someone who is experienced with the Heeler breed, as he exhibits some of the common behaviors such as herding and nipping. He may also have some jealous tendencies as he appears to favor one owner, and doesn't do well when other people are around his favorite person. For this reason, he needs to go to a one owner home with few visitors and no children.
His minimum adoption fee is $275 plus a $12 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
