Meet Chesney!

Chesney is a wonderful 9-year-old pup.  He was well loved in his previous home and is working on reducing his weight now.  Chesney is a talker and will yip when he wants something.  His bark is quiet and easily quieted with a quick, “That's enough Chesney”.  He's on a weight reduction diet food while in foster care, and should reduce to half his current weight.  Chesney enjoys leash walks and is easy to walk.  Chesney enjoys following and being with his person.  He's a happy go lucky boy and always has a smile.  He had a dental before coming into Maryland and has very few teeth, so his diet will always be soft food.  He will work on a bully bladder chew though and loves them.  Chesney is all about cushy beds and having a few to pick from rotates them in his foster home.  Chesney is around cats and dogs and does fine.  He'd be happy in a pack or alone, he just has such an easy-going personality.  He would do fine with respectful children as well.  Chesney does fine in a crate or free roaming.  He has the perfect energy for going for a nice walk, or watching movies.  He's a love bug and ready for his new home.

Chesney is current on vaccines and has had a wellness exam, heartworm tested, and microchipped.
