Cherry Poodle & Coonhound Mix Wheaton, IL

Hello, I am Cherry a friendly hound, poodle mix (Houndoodle??) and weigh about 47 lbs. My foster mom thinks I may have some terrier mixed in, I do shed a bit, so we are not completely sure what else I’m mixed with...I am ready to be loved and rescued!! My age is approx 18 months. I am a friendly girl, and do have some puppy energy, and enjoying being the center of attention. I would love some one who can take me for walks or to have some place to run and play!!
Did I mention that I love toys ? Rounds ones, chewy ones, squeaky ones, they are ALL GREAT and a good way to keep me active. I am happiest when I am around my people. I currently have foster dog brothers that I enjoy being near and playing with too. I would be fine with a doggy buddy or a solo dog. I am a very social young lady full of wiggles wags and prefer to be nearby.
I have mastered potty training and enjoying having a dog bed to relax and sleep on. I am also fine with using my crate. My foster mom says that I have a hearty appetite and that you have to keep the counters clear of people food. I prefer to call it brunching all day... sometimes I am a bit sneaky, my foster mom’s says I inspire her and my foster kids to put things away quickly.
I do need some one who will work with me on my manners and training. I am very smart, and easy to to correct, need some one to spend some time working with me, as I am still young.
I would love to be your forever dog and hope that you can help me shine!!

The adoption fee of $450 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family.
