Meet Winkie
A lot of dog lovers see beyond traditional beauty and look for unique friends and fur-friends. I want to introduce you to Winkie, she is a 18 month old wire-haired 30lb terrier mix coming all the way from sunny Georgia.
Unfortunately her life wasn’t so sunny until now. She lived outside and to no fault of her own became a teen mom. She was left in the cold to deliver her pups and fortunately escaped to find a nice home to take her in. Her babies have all been adopted to loving homes, now it is her turn.
While she was living in not so great conditions a unsupervised child poked her in the eye with a stick and destroyed her chance of every using it again. Our kind veterinarians decided it was best to remove it and have her be Winkie for the rest of her long life.
If you are contemplating a buddy to enjoy summer with, I’d be happy to introduce you to this one-eyed wonder.
She is spayed and up to date on shots. She gets along with everyone, dogs, cats, and even kids.
