The only information we were given by the rural county shelter from which we transferred Cheeta and her 7 siblings was that they were a mix of Jack Russell and who knows what else. The pups were in pretty bad condition when they arrived at ACS on 7/10/18. After a few weeks of TLC, Cheeta is now ready to move on to the next exciting stage of her life - being a furry family member! With her sable coloring, long legs and upright ears, Cheeta is a real stunner in the looks department but this girl's beauty is not just skin deep. She's a real lover and very affectionate. Cheeta is doing great on paper-training but her adopter must still be prepared to deal with finishing the job of house-training. Her adopter will also need to teach her all the other important things a puppy needs to know as she grows. Growing up with her siblings has taught Cheeta how to interact properly with other dogs and she's young enough to learn how to behave respectfully around cats. Cheeta's such a joy to watch as she runs through the Puppy Yard playing with her siblings! No doubt, she'd be just as playful with children. However, because she's still a baby herself, she might be a little too rambunctious for really young children or children who haven't been around puppies before. Like any puppy, Cheeta is silly, energetic, full of mischief and is sure to try your patience but we bet she'll also give you a lot of reasons to laugh and smile, too! Raising a young puppy does present some challenges but, as long as you know what you're getting into and know what you're doing, you'll be rewarded with a friend that will never judge you but will always, instead, accept and love you just the way you are despite any faults you might have. Cheeta deserves the same in return from her adopter. If you have a lot of time, patience, prior experience with raising a puppy, and a strong commitment to love and care for Cheeta through the good times and the bad times for the rest of her natural life, just stop by the shelter and ask to meet her. SHe's had all her vaccinations, is spayed, microchipped and on monthly flea and heartworm preventatives. /// CHEETA IS SPONSORED THRU FEBRUARY 2019 BY OUR FRIENDS AT BATEY BROPHY LAW OFFICE.
