Cheesy Potato's Story
Hi there! My name is Cheesy Potato, and yes… I’m just as comforting, lovable, and irresistible as my name suggests. I’m a 72-lb White and Merle American Bully, about 2 years old, and I might just be the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet.
I came to the sanctuary after being pulled from Forsyth Animal Shelter, where I arrived as a stray and sadly no one came to claim me. Their loss is truly your gain — because I adore people. I’m incredibly well-adjusted, polite, and walk like a total pro on a loose leash, staying right by your side as if we’ve been best friends forever.

I love everyone I meet and never miss a chance to soak up affection. Despite my size, I’m low-to-medium energy and perfectly happy with a nice short walk and a few glorious rounds of fetch (I am, after all, a fetching queen). I’ve been friendly with other dogs through the fence, and when I met a cat, I gave her a respectful sniff-spection and went on my way.

I’m already a staff favorite everywhere I go — the vet, shelter staff, and sanctuary team all agree: I’m the best girl. I make friends effortlessly and charm everyone I meet.

One special thing about me? I’m deaf! Don’t worry — it doesn’t slow me down one bit. I’m sweet, attentive, and actually benefit from it since loud noises don’t bother me at all. I also ride beautifully in the car and am always ready for the next adventure with my favorite humans.

I’d love a home with a fenced yard or access to a nearby dog park so I can get the exercise and enrichment I enjoy.

I am fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, on heartworm preventative, and scheduled to be spayed and microchipped on January 20th. The sanctuary is now accepting applications to come meet me — and I promise, you’ll fall in love.

**Important**

The cost to adopt is $250, and the adoption process begins with an Adoption Application that can be located at: www.faithfulfriendsnc.org/adopt

Once your completed application has been reviewed, the humans will contact you with questions and/or set an appointment for you to meet me. Thank you! Please read all guidelines before sending in an application. Do not reach out to the sanctuary about the status of your application; we will contact you if we are interested in setting up an appointment.
