You must be 25 yrs of age or older to adopt through us. We are in the Rochester NY area and adopt dogs out locally.

Introducing Chauncey; which apparently stands for beautiful big ball of fluff! She is so full of personality and sweetness she will fill her furever home with joy. We believe she’s a Newfie mix maybe some doodle? She’s a bundle of energy who would definitely benefit from other dog companions (Cats need not apply). Super playful - she’s looking for a fun loving family with lots of space to run, a dog or doggies to play with as well as kids too? Sure! Perhaps 5 years of age and up to accommodate her puppy behavior that knows no bounds at 3 months of age. Her clumsy hugs in greeting you in the morning (might topple a toddler but) - what a sweet way to start your day! Chauncey is spayed and ready for a home to call her own. You must live in the Rochester NY area and have a fenced in yard (as she is agile and a jumper looking for 5 foot or higher fence) to adopt her.

All animals are kept in foster homes so there is no shelter for you to visit animal. Please go to https://new2urescue.org/adoption/adoption-application/ if you would like to meet the foster animal or learn more.

All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.

Adoption fees:
Puppy to 1 yr of age: $350 to $400
1 yr to 6 yrs of age: $250 -$400
6 yrs to 8 yrs of age: $200 -350
Over 9 yrs of age: Adoption fee varies
*NOTE* Purebreds and Designer breeds, regardless of age are $325 to $400
