Meet Chase
1 1/2 year old handsome Chase was found roaming the streets when picked up by Maricopa County Animal Care and Control. Chase is partially blind but he still can see shadows. He knows his surroundings as well as how to get around. His eye condition is believed to be something he was born with. Unfortunately for Chase this is not something that can be fixed by surgery or medication. The good news is that this is not a neurological issue nor is it causing him any discomfort.
Chase would love to find a forever home where someone is home a lot and can spend time with him. We have dog tested him and he would do best in a home with other medium/large dogs. He would not do well with little kids so older to no children in the home would be ideal for him. He is a very loving and affectionate dog. He likes to just lay by you and keep you company. He mastered the doggy door within a day at the rescue. He can go out of it as well as let himself back in once he has gone potty. He is fantastic dog and would make a very loyal companion. He is currently in a foster home with 6 other Shepherds and is doing wonderful.
If you can give Chase an indoor forever home, please fill out our online application on our website at http://www.savingpawsrescueaz.com/adoption-form/
We will only schedule meet and greets with an approved application. We are an all-volunteer organization. It may take a couple of days to process an application and complete reference checks.
