Charming Chaplin Golden Retriever Mix Reston, VA

Meet Charming Chaplin. He is a gorgeous fella with the absolute perfect blend of love and is at a prime age! Young and energetic enough to go on that long hike, but also would be up for a lazy day on the couch. What a perfect combo! Got all that crazy puppy energy out of the way!! And he is just absolutely gorgeous! WOWZER what a LOOKER! People keep asking him how on earth he ended up at the shelter! Oh..and his leash manners! What a guy!!

We rescued him from a nearby shelter (unfortunately high kill), and he did test lightly positive for heart worm at that time. But he has been treated and is doing wonderful! A few more weeks of activity restriction here at the shelter and he will be feeling like a brand new guy and will be good to go home with his new family to his furever home.

He is about 2.5 years old, and weighs about 70 lbs. So he is a big fella! We believe him to be some sort of golden retriever mix.

Certain dogs make him a little on the nervous side, and it is hard to predict which dogs those will be, as he is a total gentleman with the lady pups he has met at the shelter. So he would thrive best in a one dog home with a dog savvy family ready to learn those cues and give him the time every pup needs to settle in.

He is neutered, up to date on all shots and carries an adoption fee of $339 which includes his micro chip.
