Charlie - in foster home Black Labrador Retriever Mix Myrtle Beach, SC

Charlie is currently in a foster home and this is what her current foster says about her.
“Charlie has a very sweet, calm personality. She is an approximately two year old black lab mix as of Aug. 2024 so she still has some puppy enthusiasm while playing but she is a good listener . She is friendly to all people, loves to play with our dog and is curious, but not aggressive, with our cat. She loves to be outside and loves to play in the yard. She is a pleaser and smart and very receptive to
training with treats. She LOVES toys and stuffys. She is not overly needy but she is a lovey and does like to sit next to you and get pets and snuggles ??. She is well-mannered , follows basic commands , is crate-trained ( we use it only at night because she is so well-behaved in the house ). She also is housebroken and working on her leash training . She would be a great companion dog for someone and would do well as an only or as second pup with a slow intro. We haven’t exposed her to small children but she has done well with middle school-age and above . Smalls may be too much hubub for her with her enthusiastic style of play. I think she’d do better in a home with older kids. She is an absolute gem and just needs someone to love her as much as she will love them.”
