Charlie (Chocolate) Yorkshire Terrier CAPE MAY, NJ

Adorable Charlie is looking for his forever home!

Charlie is a 4 year old yorkie terrier mix and weighs 18 lbs. Charlie was known as Chocolate at the shelter, and with his rich, silky chocolate brown coat it’s easy to see why! From underneath his luscious locks peek his gorgeous bright eyes and charming smile. Charlie loves to be picked up and, of course, snuggled. He has a vibrant personality and lots of energy for playing. He does well on outings and likes the car. Charlie would do best in a single pet home, he is not a fan of cats and although he is not reactive dogs and has been making progress with small dogs his size, he would love to soak up all the love and be the center of attention in his new home!

Previously, Charlie was surrendered to a NJ animal shelter when he did not get along with the resident cats. At the shelter, Charlie did wonderful on all of his behavior assessments but with the current over-crowding, this good little boy still became at risk for euthanasia. Luckily, wonderful foster stepped up for Chocolate, who renamed him Charlie so he could still have his Chocolate factory but also a new name for his new life! Charlie is currently being fostered in southern NJ. Charlie is fully vetted, neutered, micro chipped and ready for his happily ever after!
