Meet Charlie! Charlie is a 14-year-old, 30-lb Lhasa Apso with a gentle, easygoing nature.

He's a mellow senior who's happiest napping in a sunny spot, taking slow strolls in the yard, or quietly watching the world go by from a cozy bed.

Charlie peacefully coexists with dogs, cats, kids, and all the humans he's met. He's happy to share his space with anyone who's calm and kind.

Like many seniors, Charlie occasionally struggles with potty issues, but he should do well with a regular schedule and a patient home.

While he spends most of his day snoozing, don't be fooled-Charlie takes food very seriously. He'll wake from the deepest sleep the moment he hears the stove turn on and will suddenly appear in the kitchen like magic.

Charlie simply wants a peaceful place to enjoy his golden years surrounded by kindness and comfort.

Charlie is currently being fostered in Staten Island, NY. His adoption fee is $375.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
