He's a scholar of the 'easy to train' academy, breezing through commands like sit, down, and paw with the enthusiasm of a pup half his age.

Charlie's past is a story of triumph. Rescued from a dire situation, he’s bounced back from being a heartworm-positive stray to a healthy, joyful dog who’s all about seizing the day—especially if it ends with a cozy nap in his crate or a leisurely walk on a leash.

In his foster home, Charlie is the social butterfly of the canine community, loving both male and female dogs. He doesn't just get along; he thrives, seeking out companionship and fitting in like the missing puzzle piece you didn’t know your family needed.

While he's yet to be tested with cats and little humans, his gentle nature suggests he'd tip-toe around a toddler as cautiously as he does around a new puppy friend. Charlie is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to his forever home by our rescue! We have transports departing each week!
