Charlie German Shepherd Dog Mix Houston, TX

Charlie is a 48 lb, lovable ball of energy who’s looking for his perfect forever home! What a beautiful boy! We cannot believe he was found on the streets. While It may take him a little bit to trust you and come out of his shell once he does, you are in for a treat. He is looking for a special human to give hugs and kisses.

Charlie would do best in a home without small children as he prefers slow deliberate movements, rather than someone approaching him too quickly. He also can get a little excited when he sees his favorite Hoo-man and may jump a bit.

Charlie is very smart and trainable judging by how quickly he learned his name. He is very curious, explorative, but also loves a good cuddle session.

He seems to be potty trained. And although he was a street dog, he has not had a single accident. Such a good boy!

He sleeps in a crate, but could still use a little crate training. His best bud is his foster brother, a 7yr old fellow GSD. He would like a dog brother or sister who has similar energy as him. :). He has not been around cats, so that is unknown.

Overall he's a very loving, beautiful dog whom I presumed has lived on the streets for a long time, perhaps his entire life. He just needs someone to love him and offer him some guidance on how to "dog" with good manners. :) Charlie will make someone a wonderful companion.
