MUST LIVE IN ROCHESTER, NY AREA TO ADOPT and have a physically fenced in yard for him to play in.

Charlie is a 5 year Poodle mix boy who weighs about 22 pounds. He was surrendered through no fault of his own. He is sweet with a quirky personality and cute underbite. Good with older kids (6 and above) and dogs. Unknown for cats but chases wild animals. He prefers to hang out with females, might slowly warm up to some males. He loves to cuddle and get petted and sleeps with his family in bed. He is mostly housebroken if let out frequently to fenced-in yard. He gets excited going out leash walking but pulls hard when deer or squirrels are in sight. He is starting to learn to sit on command but is not very gentle taking the treats sometimes.
Charlie is up to date with shots and neutered. He is looking for a family to call his own under foster-to-adopt contract, A family willing to continue his training to help him learn good manners. Kids over 6 are recommended as he does not like sudden movement or loud noises. He has lot of energy and love to give to his new family/best friends.

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally, if fencing is required it must be a physical fence and in place at time of home visit.
