Charlie Terrier Mix Omaha, NE

Charlie is an amazing soul that never let his neglect and suffering stop him from simply loving. He is 1 year old and loves people, kids, cats, dogs and life! This precious boy had an estimated 12 hours to live due to malnutrition and neglect (as seen in his photo befow) when found by a caring advocacy group but he's now happy, healthy and ready for his loving forever family to take him home!

Charlie is first and foremost a SUPER SWEET boy that loves people, treats, squeaky toys and scratches on the top of his big ole head to put him to sleep. He does snore but it's too darn cute to not love. We also have to mention his sleeping positions are hilarious...he'll keep you laughing nightly. Other fantastic things Charlie excels at are not jumping for greetings, he's potty trained, loves to play fetch (as long as he doesn't have to drop it lol), does great on leash walking, doesn't beg for food, and he's quiet and hardly barks....he wishes fireworks were the same as he was scared of the loud noises!

Now we think this 61 pound beefcake is pretty darn perfect but we do admit he needs some continued work on crate training he just loves his people way too much to be away from them. Chewing...be sure to stock up on toys and bones to keep shoes and furniture safe but he does easily redirect to appropriate items. Mouthing some like we mentioned if too amped up but he never bites. He's also working on commands like sit and down and stay....he's a smart boy so these need to be reinforced.
