Oh Charlie, sweet senior Charlie. He is a man of manners and cuteness. Charlie loves to sunbathe, eat, snooze and enjoy belly rubs. He is a quiet boy, not a barker. He doesn’t play with other dogs, but he is friendly to them and as well as a 10 year old girl in the family. He likes to follow his foster mom around the house and wags his tail to express the joy when he sees you.

He sleeps well in his x-pen at night with other pups, eats twice a day, and is potty trained! He even lets you know when he needs to go out to do his business. He waits by the door and looks at you to let you know he needs to be excused to go potty. And when he wants to eat, he sits patiently and stares at his foster mom until he gets what he wants. If only dogs could talk, “please” and “thank you” would be very much a part of his vocabulary.

Charlie may be a senior, but he will be great for a forever family who enjoys a more low key lifestyle and can take him on daily, slower walks or even slow jog in the backyard.

He is a very easy going boy with a great personality. Just look at his big, green, eyes. Will you give him a chance to finally have a forever home of his own?

Adoption Process:
Once an adoption counselor receives and approves your application, they will contact you (only if you match the animal's needs) to set up an appointment to meet the dog you applied for and/or any of the other dogs in the rescue. If the dog you applied for is not a good match for your particular situation, there might be others that are better matches.

Adoption Fees:
Adoption fees allow WOOF Animal Rescue to continue to provide care and medical treatment (including spay/neuter services) for dogs while we look for their forever homes. The fees also helps cover the ongoing costs of caring for less adoptable dogs that require longer stays in the rescue, or more advanced medical treatment before finding their forever homes.

WOOF Animal Rescue, in Fremont CA, does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations and rabies shots appropriate for their age, dewormed and microchipped.
