Charlie is such a happy dog. He is always smiling. He loves children and would do well with kids over 10 years old. He is pretty mellow for a husky. Well mannered and housetrained.
Charlie currently lives in a foster home with a children over 10 years old and other dogs, big and small. He plays very gentle and loves belly rubs. He is very loving and affectionate dog. He warms up nicely to strangers, pretty quickly with love and laughter around.
His ideal home will have another big dog of equal energy, with happy family who is active and calm spirited. He does not do well in a loud and anxious household as he takes on the emotions. He does well with strangers and is non reactive on walks. He will do best with other dogs at home and a fenced yard, so that is what we are looking for. He will make a great hiking partner.
Charlie is neutered utd on shots, weighs about 62 lbs. He is about 24 months old, still just a baby.
He doesn’t have prey drive for small animals, has not been tested with cats, but we do believe he would do relatively well with them.

His foster says:
“Charlie...a complete love bug who enjoys relaxing as much as a good play session and a long walk...
Charlie he definitely needs to be with med/large dogs who like to play. Charlie tries really hard to get the other dogs to play with him but once their play session is over he's back to just hanging out and being mellow. He does well with kids, men and women. He seems to really enjoy men though and being one of the guys. He is crate trained and does well in the car and great on walks. He gets a little excited in the beginning of a walk but calms down quickly. He loves my husband and gets really excited when my oldest son comes over too. So a man in the home would be great but definitely not needed.“
