Charlie English Setter Spring City, TN

Charlie is a 5-6 yr old male Setter who came into OESR from Mississippi. He is a happily retired hunting dog. Charlie was a hot mess when he landed at his foster home, his skin and fur were so filthy and itchy that his foster ended up shaving him to help get everything clean and healthy.
Charlie has made great improvements while in foster care and his fur will continue to grow back as he stays on a healthy diet.
Charlie is very handsome and is still pretty spunky. He knows some basic commands and has been in the field a bit. He loves birds and running and getting plenty of mind stimulating exercise. He would make a great Hunting partner for someone or could take up nose work or agility. Skies the limit with this fellow.
Charlie is looking for a fun loving family that will spoil him and let him crash on the furniture but active enough to keep him busy and entertained. He is good with other dogs and would love a chance at being a dog and learning to play with other dogs..

If you are interested in adopting Charlie or another OESR dog, you must complete the application process at www.oesr.org. We will not be able to answer your questions about this dog until he has been assessed at which time the information will be available here or on our website.

All adoptive homes must have a fenced yard or other type of containment or boundaries for the dog. Vet and personal reference checks as well as a home visit will be conducted prior to final adoption approval for all OESR dogs.

Adoption fees range from 250.00 to 395.00
