Charlie is a female Pomsky (Pomeranian/Husky) born 1/31/2021. She is 20 lbs and so beautiful, she is literally the center of attention everywhere she goes. She is very friendly and likes to play rough, so another medium/large size young and playful pup would be ideal... and an equally active owner. She loves to play fetch, throw around her toys and run (in a fully fenced area). She does bond very closely with one person in the family and prefers to spend most of her time around that person, so while she is friendly enough with calm/gentle children on walks, she is not really into the children in the home so would be best in a home without children. She can be very vocal and has some separation anxiety so no apartments for her, the neighbors will not love you. Whoever adopts her will need to want to integrate a dog into every part of their life. She is still working on her housetraining. She is leash trained, likes car rides and walks.
As a summary: she needs a home with another young medium/large playful dog, someone home most of the time, fenced yard and an owner with experience. We are getting quite a few applications for her... please only apply if you match all of these criteria.
Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. If you do not live within a 2 hr drive of Orange County, please do not apply.

Please note that we are all volunteers so it may take up to 3 days to process your application, but you will hear back from us if your application is a good match for the pet. We do not have a shelter so individual appointments must be made to meet the pet you are interested in. Our pets are fostered/boarded all over LA and Orange County. This pet is altered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has had a brief temperament evaluation to help us determine what type of a home he/she would thrive in. Please note that we put lots of time and effort to make sure our pets are ready to be someone's perfect pet before they go home.... and to make sure that we will have the best possible match for this pet we do require an : application, interview, adoption fee and in some case a home check.
