Beagle & Pointer Mix
Beagle & Pointer Mix
Vaccinations up to date, spayed / neutered.
Good in a home with
Other dogs, children.
Meet Charles/Charlie, an enthusiastic, exuberant approximately 1 yr old, 40 lb beagle/pointer mix. Picked up as a stray in southern IN, Charlie has whiskey colored eyes and a fantastic sense of smell. He can be picky about his canine friends, so will do best with other dogs who are submissive or he would do great as an only dog. He is great with kids, but may be a little too much for kids under 2 who can easily be knocked down. Charlie easily learned sit because he's highly food focused but his foster family is still working on his puppy penchant for counter surfing, shoes, dirty laundry and books. Charlie is very affectionate and loves to have his eyebrows scratched. He can be vocal when he wants attention or to play. It's unknown how Charlie feels about cats. He's over 95% house trained, since being neutered and sleeps through the night. Charlie is up-to-date on his vaccination and his adoption fee is $200. If you feel that he would be a good addition to your family, please contact Margrit at 630.820.1584.
