Chappy Boston Terrier Van Vleck, TX

Chappy is a small older guy about 14lbs we estimate his age to be 10 and up. He has had bad teeth removed, neutered, microchipped and vaccinations updated. This little guy needs a quieter home with no reactive dogs. Chappy's best home would be a retired couple or a stay-at-home mom. He does seem to gravitate to women more to be held. This little boy is very clingy and wants nothing more than to be held or in your lap or following you around. He loves car rides and going wherever you go. He does ok with other dogs; however, he does have a little scrappy streak that can come out with other excited dogs. He would do best without children in the home. Due to several missing teeth, he can't eat hard kibble and requires a soaked kibble with canned food. He will require a home where he can have a mom that can be with him most of the day and doesn't mind a Velcro boy. Chappy was very neglected in the past; he unfortunately is heartworm positive and has started protocol for the slower kill method. He is better with potty training but still needs help training his occasional marking. Chappy is a sweet, quirky and special little guy. We are taking applications to screen for his best fit.
