Meet CHANCE
Foster notes: Chance is such a lovable and sweet girl. She will do anything to please you. She does appear to have a high prey drive but loves to play tug and fetch and gets along well with my two kids who are 6 and 2. She hasn't had much experience off leash around other dogs. Most encounters have been on leash but seems she wants to play and interact but not sure yet. She will bark when she hears someone at the door or in the house but once she meets the person she does well and is friendly. She is house trained in the sense she will not use the bathroom in the house. However, if you go off track with whatever schedule you set for her, accidents are going to happen. I would have a crate to keep her in until you have a routine down for her and she understands your expectations. She is also crate trained and doesnt mind being in her crate but also likes being around people once she is comfortable and knows you. However she will whine or cry if she has to go to bathroom while she is in her crate. She needs supervision when not in her crate because she is food motivated and given the opportunity, and not being supervised, she will take food off kitchen table/counter but we are still currently working on that as well. Because she is food motivated, this has helped in her basic obedience training that we have started and she is doing very well. She knows sit, down and has door manners where she will wait until you release her to go. She does well leash walking with very little pulling. She can get a little mouthy/jumpy when she gets to playing and/or overstimulated, but this is due to being young and can be corrected. Please come check out your girl Chance and give her just that and you will fall in love!
