Meet Chamwoe! This 20-pound Jindo/spitz mix is 3 years old and was rescued from the Aerinwon shelter. As she gets adjusted, you can find her sleeping with her stuffed bear or gently placing her paw on her human's hand to say hi! She's doing well with potty training and getting more comfortable with her crate, and comes out of her shell more and more each day. She will do best with a patient adopter in an adults-only home that can continue to encourage her confidence-building. Ready to bring her home and make this week a GREAT one? Apply to adopt!??

Meet our adoptable pups! In compliance with NYC Phase 4 re-opening (www1.nyc.gov/), we will have an in-person meet and greet and Livestream event on Saturday, April 10th @ Mika Café in Bushwick (25 Thames St, Brooklyn). The event will be held at the outdoor event space from 11:30 am – 3 pm. This will be an opportunity where you can meet the dogs in person from a safe social distance.

This is not an adoption event; potential adopters will be able to watch the Livestream, learn about each dog's personality, and then meet/greet and observe the dogs from a safe social distance behind their playpens. Your brief questions will be answered, and if you are interested in adopting, an adoption application can be filled out online before or after this event. Our adoption radius is now within 30 miles of the following locations: NYC, Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley, DC, Baltimore, MD, and Western & Eastern CT. You must be able to pick up the dog at our office in Astoria, Queens (no exceptions). You must wear a mask and practice safe social distancing when traveling and picking up the dog.
