Champ Boxer Mix Springfield, MO

I was abandoned by my owner and found myself clinging to a tree root in the river. I was saved by firefighters and brought to Rescue One. I had just about given up on life and humans but I am a fighter! My name is Champ and I am exactly that! At 57 pounds, I am 9 year old boxer/heeler mix who has survived life's worst traumas and am starting to come out on the other side. I am house broken, crate and leash trained plus I am very quiet. I will need a home that is dedicated to working with me on trust and people who are patient and gentle. I am still working on coming out of my shell and trusting humans again. An easy going, slower pace would be great for me. A "simple man" describes me best because I love beggin strips and kibble. I know that life still has a lot to offer me and this champ is up for the challenge!

My adoption fee is $75 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
