Champ Pit Bull Terrier Mix Palatine, IL

This beautiful brindle gentleman is Champ. Ridiculous, sensitive, and full of love, this social butterfly is ready for his forever home.

A 1-year-old Pittie mix weighing about 60 pounds, Champ is housebroken and will stand by the door to signal you. A fast learner, he’s already learned several commands including sit, paw, down, and wait. He can hold the "wait" for up to a minute now! We're working on "place" and he's already catching on. He is very smart and would love to continue building up his skillset with his special someone. Champ is the best of both worlds because he's happy to give snuggles and kisses, but just as happy to snooze on his doggy bed.

Champ doesn't chew things he shouldn't and is a fan of everyone he meets. While on walks, he can be overstimulated by all the sights and sounds so he is on medication to help keep him calm. He gets along with dogs and would enjoy being with another dog who likes to wrestle and play. He could also do well all by himself, as long as you promise to give him lots of loving. 

Champ is crate-trained but is not a fan, he will settle in his crate after a bit. He simply wants to be with his human. A fenced yard would be a bonus for this sun-bathing stud!
