I’m ready to dance my way right into your heart! I’m about a year old and so far I get along with everyone I have met. I would do best in a home w/out a cat because I do like to chase them and cats don't typically like that. I love to play and run! I enjoy the company of other dogs but I don’t mind keeping myself busy with some fun toys or a chew bone! Do you know that some balls squeak?! Those are my favorite! I also really love to relax and take naps. I heard someone call me a “couch potato” the other day, whatever that means. My foster mom says that I’m super duper smart! I know “sit” and I will happily “kennel up” for a treat or food! Speaking of food, I have a great nose so if you leave food out somewhere (even if you think it’s safe on a counter), I’ll find it! The good news is I’ll also “drop it” quickly and without protest if I am asked (even if it’s a full yogurt container! lol). I’m doing excellent in my house manners and seem to be housebroken. I am crate trained and I sleep quietly in my crate at night and while my foster people are away at something called “work”. When they get home, I get excited to see them that I wag my whole body so hard that it looks like my booty might just hit my snoot! I can’t wait to meet you and show you how sweet I am in person!

Adoption Donations are $250 for an adult, $350 for puppies (a dog under one year of age), and $125 for a senior dog (based on the age of the dog). Adoption donations are to be made via cash, and credit/debit card. There is a $5 fee to run cards.

Please remember to bring a collar and leash (non-retractable) with you the day of the adoption. Note: Martingale collars and slip leads are recommended.

Fill out an application online prior to arriving to our adoption event. This greatly speeds up the adoption process and will ensure that the animal you are interested in will be at the event. Not all adoptable dogs can make it to events, because they are cared for in foster homes. Our adoption events are normally held most Wednesday’s from 5-7pm and each Saturday from noon until 4 PM on Saturdays at 3602 Lafayette Blvd, Suite 102, Fredericksburg, VA 22408. There are circumstances that we will not have an adoption event, so please email prior to coming to ensure we will be open.
