Meet Cecily
Meet Cecily
Cecily, 12 years old, maltese, spayed female, 7lbs
We welcomed this beauty and got her all dolled up and feeling beautiful again. We decided to name her Cecily since Jill was not her long-term name. It was a shelter name, and we wanted something lovely and dainty for this princess.
Cecily was found locked in an abandoned home - all alone. No food. No water. Simply put, she was left to die. She must have been terrified to be left and to be blind. Tossed aside like trash. It is incomprehensible.
She is around 12 years old with dental decay and mature cataracts causing blindness, and is underweight. Cecily has suffered for far too long. Those days are OVER. She's currently rocking a beautiful dress, a pretty collar, and her new Miri's Haven name tag.
Cecily is a sweet, delicate little girl quickly gaining weight in her foster home. She loves to cuddle and wants to be next to her person – a perfect WFH partner. She is blind from cataracts but quickly adapts to her surroundings. She is housetrained and fine with respectful children and other dogs.
She'll have dental surgery on July 28 and be ready for her forever home after!
Special Needs: Blind due to cataracts.
